"Coming out of rehab, college and the military they drifted until they found work ruining other's marriages, other people's lives. Steady work with medical insurance, cheap car payments and lots of free stuff: concert tickets, club memberships, clothes and meals. ... If they ever gave any thought that what they were doing was illegal--the drugging and stalking--their consciences were silenced by the secrecy the job required and the lifestyles of the bosses.
